History
The house on the northwest corner of the campus formerly occupied by the President and his family was converted for use as the Senior Girls’ Home in 1922. But the next year, on March 6, 1923, the Trustees designated it as a dormitory for academy girls. According to the 1923-24 Bulletin, “An experienced house mother who was prepared to meet the particular needs of high school girls” had charge of the home.
In 1928, the house became a temporary Men's Dormitory after they had accidently burned down Goodloe Hall. They accidently burned down this house a year later.
In 1934, the College constructed new tennis courts on this site.
