Bettye Wallace Tennis Center

The Bettye Wallace Tennis Center, provides a coach's office and storage for the Women's Tennis program. The facility features six lighted playing courts. Bettye Wallace participated in tennis at Henderson in 1949 and 1950 and coached from 1963-87. In 1975, she led the AWISA champion women's volleyball team. She was awarded the Volleyball Coach of the Year in 1981 and Tennis Coach of the Year in 1986. She was also the women's athletic director at Henderson and played a leading role in the promotion of women's athletics in Arkansas and through the nation.
