History

The three old temporary buildings constructed after the fire of 1914 were torn down and cleared away in May of 1915. The lumber was used to build a storage room and a large barn to house the College's herd of Jersey cows and other farm animals. The cows furnished fresh milk for the College and jobs for a few boys to help pay their expenses at H.B.C.

In 1933 the College constructed a new field for girls' athletics on what had been "the old farm north of College Hall and the east-west campus drive".
