Haygood Fieldhouse (1968)

Near the Stadium was the new air-conditioned Haygood Field House, constructed at a cost of $90,661. Archie Sutton, Inc., Hot Springs, was awarded the contract on April 24, 1968, and had the building completed by September 24. The Field House could accommodate 100 players; it also included laundry, training, and film rooms, as well as offices for the coaches.
