Intramural Field

On August 10, 1965, the College had purchased from the Arkadelphia Country Club for $300,000 a property of about 58 acres that joined the northern boundary of the campus. After the mid-1970's, the outdoor swimming pool acquired in the purchase of the Country Club property was beyond repair. It was demolished and filled in at a cost of $7,637; the area was then converted to an intramural field.
