History
In 1920, Henderson added a brick-veneered, “fully equipped Infirmary Cottage near the Dormitory”. The Infirmary was for the young men and was situated behind the Alumni Foundation, between Goodloe Hall to the east and College Hall to the west. By about 1950, the College had converted the "old infirmary" building into a cottage for a staff member
In 1964, after McBrien Hall and the Fine Arts Center were ready to occupy, the College awarded a contract to Burke's House Wrecking Company for $4,366 to raze both College Hall and Key Hall. Following the razing of these two structures. Henderson had only one building that had belonged to old Henderson-Brown College, the little brick house called the Men's Infirmary. The Infirmary was finally razed in 1970, and is likely now the site of the faculty/staff parking lot behind Huie Library
