South of Mill Creek and the Arkadelphia Country Club Addition, on the lot purchased from the Kaufman family in 1961, Henderson constructed a maintenance plant in 1968-69. This area included shops, a warehouse, and the garages for the expanded inventory of equipment and vehicles necessary to keep the institution in good operation. The structural steel buildings cost $139,392 and were ready for use after approval by the Trustees on June 15, 1969.
