Pine Grove

While the size of the pine grove on the southeast edge of the campus has diminished over the years, particularly after the construction of Arkansas Hall and Reynolds Science Center, pine trees remain on the site of the rally following the devistating fire of 1914. According to campus tradition, the smoldering remains of what could not be salvaged from Old Main were buried here, and the grove became known as the Heart of Henderson.
