History

Not a building, but a structure was added to the campus by the College barn in 1916. The Crossett Silo Company donated to the College a silo with a capacity of 60 tons. By September, Henderson had constructed and filled the silo, which was “painted in the college colors and would furnish food for the 25 Jersey cows”. The herd continued to furnish milk for the College and jobs for a few boys to help pay their expenses.

For the girls' classes in physical education in 1933, the College constructed a new field on the old farm and general location of the barn and silo.
