We Sophomores are the smartest class
In Henderson this year.
And, that our fame won't ever last,
We have no cause to fear.
We never miss a lesson hard,
We never break a rule,
We have ever done things just right,
Since we have been in school.
Chorus:
Sophomores! We are the class you know.
Sophomores! There's not one of us slow.
Sophomores! Always in my dream
I'm glad I am a Sophomore,
Instead of Freshman green.
The Juniors say we are too bold,
But for this, we do not care.
For we aren't like them, in ways too old,
Of fun to have our share.
The Freshmen say our hearts are stone,
Because we call them 'green.'
But we, in this, are not alone,
As has been seen.
Our colors! They are green and gold.
Our motto! It's O.K.
Our yell! It shows that we are bold,
As well as good and gay.
And though in number we are few,
It's large enough for us.
And to our class we will be true,
The glorious Sophomore!
