Pre-Medical Club

"The Pre-Medical Club was only organized this year, with the purpose in mind to secure medical lectures for the Pre-Medical Students, and for the students at large, with a view to stimulate the study of medicine in this college, and to make more honorable that most noble profession of arts, the practice of medicine and surgery. Dr. C. A. Evans, head of the Department of Biology, and retainer of an M.D. from Vanderbilt, is sponsor of the club, and has been intrumental in producing high standards of appreciation among the members, for the study and practice of medicine."
